Zdravko, This update did indeed fix the issue with the wallpapers not showing up. I just installed it and the previous settings became effective, I didn’t have to reset them. Thanks a lot!

Since you’re in a charitable mood, I notice that the Appearance -> Custom Background selection dialog does not have controls for stretch/tile/center, but seems to select stretch functionality all the time. Would it be possible to add these functions? The stock 120×120, 160×160, and 256×256 BMPs look crappy stretched out like that. I would have mentioned this earlier, if I had seen the desktop…. Thank you for your timely response.

Hello,this is a good work.I use virtuawin as a portable soft but i find in virtuaPlus config file i can’t use system environment variable.can’t you supply this function in next version.thank you.

Dexpot was getting on my nerves so I switched to VirtuaWin and VirtuaPlus. I noticed that VirtuaPlus also offers a feature to run applications, however it’s global. In Dexpot you can configure for each desktop what applications to run. Any chance you could implement something like that?

I discovered it when I updated Virtuawin some days ago. Virtuawin – I first downloaded it almost two years ago – has become essential for me. The startup feature in your module was the only thing I missed.
So, thank you very much.

But is there a possibility to combine it with a tool that automatically swaps pictures on the virtual desktop which is currently in view?

Hello I tryed out this Product and the EXE is not working on my Labtop
I tred ever possible out come to get it to work so searched this place up to find out if thier is anything I can do if so please IM me at angelxdomain@yahoo.com.

I’d like to suggest the feature to add commandline parameters to the
ShellExecute function, so one could start

explorer.exe d:\temp on desktop 1 and
explorer.exe c:\win on desktop 2 …

A second suggestion is to add a toggle to start a program at the first
switch to the desktop (as seems to be now) vs. starting a program in
the background from the beginning.
So at the start of VirtuaWin the email program could be loaded in desktop 1,
while the browser already loads on desktop 2 etc… no need to wait until
the actual switch.

Hi. Thanks for your app, it’s a very helpful tool. However, since switching to Windows 7, the startup items no longer open at startup. Any idea why this may be? It’s a fresh install on a Lenovo ThinkPad with no additional software that might interfere.

Hi. I’ve just started using VirtuaWin and downloaded VirtuaPlus but misunderstood the program opening function.

I work concurrently with a lot of different programs and open them in specific desktops as and when I need them. I often end up with icons in the systray that I use to get to a program quickly when I am working in another desktop.

For example, Outlook is open on Desktop 1. I am working in Desktop 3. I check my emails by clicking on the mail icon and Outlook reopens in Desktop 3. What I need is for the desktop to change to Desktop 1 when I click on the icon.

Is this even possible? Great feature (for me).
